Dear Shohei, you are a baseball addict. Something that always surprises us.
Before allstar, angels was ahead of mariners. Now mariners leads division. Diff.between julio and shohei is a team player vs individual player. Jurio exicites team to win when shohei excites announcers and ohtani fan. mlb appreciates shohei brings big marketing money from japan. So, shohei wins, but not angels. In the mean time, julio leads mariners to div.title and playoffs win. I wonder what angels is looking for.

Guys… it’s not brave, or whatever sports movie trope you want to say… it’s foolish for Ohtani to not shut down for the rest of the season… The angels aren’t going anywhere and have no chance. Ohtani is only damaging himself and making it more likely he will never pitch again and for what? So the angels can sell some tickets at a home game? Ohtani should be smarter than this…
Can the screaming right-hander, who racked up 167K, withstand the shocking bat swing of a home run artist? We can only be silent about Shohei Ohtani’s ideals, which could cost a player his life. And he is arguably the most admired baseball player in MLB history.
He is the most admirable player in my opinion.
