Astros play better on the road.
There isn’t a team in all of sports I hate more than the Astros! I would pay money to watch them lose and come apart! Dirty team.
@joediaz2589 Absolutely I agree 100% with everything you said. Someone said they hate us because they aren’t us. To me Pride and Jealousy is the Elephant in the room that nobody wants to talk about. Some of them use the cheating to mask the real reason for their so called hate. I call it their security blanket. I don’t worry about it anymore. I play with them. Like you said, it’s a compliment
Yeah, we get that alot when we beat teams saying we’re “dirty”, “cheats”, “frauds” or whatever because opposing teams just refuse to believe the Astros are this good – even after winning a WS legitimately for the second time in 5 years. Sustained success breeds jealousy, contempt, and animosity – just natural that sports fans feel that way towards perennial winners. The fact that you state you hate the Astros in “all of sports” is actually a compliment because that’s how much they’ve gotten under your skin because of all of their success.
Cry harder, Jane.
That slide by Diaz was really clutch! Props to the home-plate umpire for recognizing that he was safe right away.
Great game
