Stroman seems to have lost focus. Maybe he should be platooned like Smyly. But even that wouldn’t have helped since he gave up the runs in the first three. Those first two hits he gave up were 92mph in the middle just a little low … nice balls to hit. I have no idea if they had action coming in but seems like he’d want to stay away from that location. Overthinking maybe but anyway he’s getting shelled since England. they got us a 3rd baseman with a decent bat instead of a pitcher (pitchers are hard to come by and expensive) so we are going to have to keep those hits coming. We shouldn’t *have* to be looking for a starter but we’re going to have to live with what we got. Steele is up today … he got hit last time against the Reds but according to him he was hitting his spots and they just rose to the occasion. He’s our best pitcher let’s give him run support!
And that’s why the cubs are buying. Even when the team goes down they are in every game rn. I love it.
Man Stroman has got to get back on track..

Brewers lose to the Nats! 1.5 game lead. If only we finished .500 vs. Milwaukee this year, instead of 2-14. We’d be 65-43 and Milwaukee 51-56.
