So the answer to being down two starting pitchers before the pre-season even starts is to trade for a pitcher with an injury history? A pitcher who has never pitched a full season, last season was the first time in 4+ seasons in the majors that he pitched more than 100 innings and has a losing record at 25 wins to 29 losses. And people who call themselves fans want to trade the likes of Gil or Dominguez or maybe even Jones for this person? I’d trade Blackburn and maybe a hit dog vendor who only shows up after the 5th inning, but not guys who have better floors than this guys realistic ceiling.

That’s a hall for a pitcher who hasn’t proven much and has had injuries. This trade proposal sounds crazy to me.

@nicholasaltieri4151 I understand. My point is we are giving up two pitchers who seem to have as much upside as theirs. Gil was rookie of the year and Warren was solid for us. We aren’t getting back a proven front of the rotation starter. Throw in Dominguez and it becomes in my opinion a one sided trade where Miami fleeces us.
