At first, I thought it was a win-win trade. After this, there is no way this ends goof for the Rangers. From the videos I watched, no else looked under the hood.
The Mets 100% made this trade to open up space to make a run at one of the prized free agents. The fact that they were willing to take the “worse” player and could still get the better end of this deal before even considering future moves is hilarious
Have heard they’re big players for Bellinger rn. I’m not sure how much of an upgrade he’s be from Nimmo, but he’s at least younger and more athletic right now.
