Trey Yesavage had a record setting night in game 5 of the 2025 World Series. He broke Dodgers great Sandy Koufax’s rookie record with 12 strikeouts. He also was the first pitcher to have 12 strikeouts without issuing a walk in the World Series, and he set the record for most swings and misses in the World Series since the stat was tracked starting in 2008.
