The caller is right from a logical perspective, but logic doesn’t apply here. History, local and national, and variety needs to be heeded here.
But I totally give this caller credit for keeping a serious demeanor. His seriousness made me laugh. Thankfully there is zero chance his proposal will be instituted.

There has to be some sort of rules for ball parks because you don’t want something like the Polo Grounds where every ball hit past center field will be an inside the park home run, you also don’t want a team with lots of power bats making walls 300 feet, where they play 81 games a year, sure every other team gets at least 3-4 chances to hit bombs but it’s way to disproportional
