  1. Orlando doesn’t even have a spring training team

  2. I was involved with Orlando Rays. Area doubled in population since 2003. Disney wanted stadium for other events. Rays moved to Ala.

  3. Portland Oregon is a cesspool. Ever since their local government stepped aside and allow leftist antifa cucks run around turning their city into a wasteland, it’s not even in a top 25 as far as candidates go.

  4. Did you tell everyone that’s the old Orlando Rays hat the former AA team. Geez, I wish you’d let this go. The Rays are not leaving Tampa Bay. Period.

  5. The put the note again area has a Hillsboro Hops team in the high a level of Minor league baseball and play in the league

  6. Charlotte Knights are a very popular AAA team playing at a nice ballpark, Truist Field (opened in 2014). There was apparently some opposition to building Truist at the time as some prominent business people were concerned that it would hurt Charlotte’s chances of landing an MLB franchise. Another reason why I think Raleigh (Tom Dundon) is the current favorite to land the Eastern MLB expansion team.

  7. The only reason for the hiatus of a mlb affiliated team in pdx is stadium issues. Really lack there of since the og baseball stadium was converted to soccer specific. Early 2000s it seemed like mlb would be the next major professional sport team to represent our metro. I am surprised the Timbers made it to mls first

  8. This is what I know about what happened to the Orlando Rays (1997-2003). The city of Orlando decided to expand Crapping World Stadium and basically tear down, Tinker Field which was home to the Orlando Rays untill 1999 because it was showing signs of the age and needed better accommodations. They temporarily moved into Champion Field at Disney from 2000-2003 so then the Tampa Bay Family moved them to Montgomery to become the Biscuits and that started in 2004.

The Montgomery Biscuits are a Minor League Baseball team based in Montgomery, Alabama. They are the Double-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays and play in the Southern League. The team was founded in Orlando, Florida, in 1973 as the Orlando Twins, an affiliate of the Minnesota Twins. After remaining in the Minnesota minor league organization for 20 seasons, the team became an affiliate of the Chicago Cubs for four seasons and then the Seattle Mariners for one. In 1999, the team became an affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, and they have remained in the organization ever since. They became members of the Double-A South in 2021, though this was renamed the Southern League in 2022.

  9. Move the rays to Vegas and the A’s to Utah

  10. Before MLB can even think about expansion, it has to negotiate a new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) after the 2026 season. If not, a lockout will happen.

  11. I think you kind of are beating a dead horse at the moment. We know while the Rays are for sale they can’t move until 29 and can’t even talk about moving per there lease agreement MLB is not expanding in Florida and not letting another team move into Florida. Two teams already have attendance issues. One with a good park and bad ownership and operation, Second with no park and a very decent operation. Then you have the issue with the A’s finally the MLB labor agreement is coming up so until that is resolved nothing is getting done. Orlando can scream and yall all they want for a team it is not happening unless the Rays are bought and they move. Otherwise no.

    • they could absolutely move before 2029. also, a real story with the rays that nobody is talking about: what happened to that exclusive sale window, and, how long does it last?

  12. Like your honesty

  13. The Japanese soldier who still believed it was WW2 is right here

  14. Salt Lake Bees, not Salt Lake City Bees, it represents Salt Lake County
