今年、侍ジャパン社会人代表監督に就任した川口朋保さんは一期生、堀井監督の後継者として三菱自動車監督を引き継ぎ、今年、日本代表監督として恩師と同じタイミングで日の丸をつけた
一方、二期生にあたるのはご存知、谷佳知さん。日本を代表する打者としての活躍は言うまでもありませんが、実は堀井監督との出会いが野球人生のターニングポイントになっているとのこと
堀井監督の横顔を教えて頂こうと始まったインタビューは思わぬ方向へ！？

ANDTV” is a program that focuses on the lives of professionals in various fields.
The first installment of “Tetsuya Horii, Manager of Keio University’s Baseball Team” is a spin-off project of the main character, Tetsuya Horii (61), the manager of Keio University’s baseball team.
The first installment of “Tetsuya Horii, Manager, as told by his students” features first- and second-term students of Mitsubishi Motors Okazaki, who began their careers as managers.
Tomoyasu Kawaguchi, who became the manager of the Samurai Japan National Team this year, is a first-generation student who succeeded Tetsuya Horii as the manager of MMC, and this year, he put on the Japanese flag at the same time as his mentor as the national team manager.
On the other hand, the second-generation student is well-known as Yoshitomo Tani. Needless to say, he is one of Japan’s leading hitters, but in fact, his encounter with Manager Horii was a turning point in his baseball career!
What started out as an interview to get a profile of Manager Horii took an unexpected turn!
