I don’t like any of our NL Central opponents. I respect the Reds though. They are the only consistent team at playing the rest of the Central like it is the WS even when they’re bad. Having said that… Damn them… We could’ve gained some nice ground in the Central this weekend… Nice split though. I will admit. I’m usually most paranoid about facing the Reds in a pennant race….
After 2 brutal blown saves, this seemed pretty vital. No closer needed this time!
A win with no 9th inning drama.
The Reds have been around since 1866 and have 5 world series (1919 world series was fixed that tarnished America’s pastime) so only 4 world series. Their average is once every 39.25 years. What a Dynasty lol!
Yo whoever the starting pitcher for the cubs is. Needs to be sent down to triple A and be replaced
The whole NL central division has a BRIGHT FUTURE !!!!! I love the pause if the chicago cubs where the cubs do not panic !!!!!!! Their KILLER INSTINCT in the 9th inning was impressive !!!!!!!!! I truly expected a split !!!!!! We were fortunate to win game one on Friday and today and we’re unlucky in games two and three !!!!!!! Unlike 99% of the population I look at THINGS FROM BITH TEAMS PERSPECTIVE !!!!!!!! the reds and cubs each deserved a two-two split of the series!!!!!!!! IOVE TOUGH SCHEDULES the past 7 weeks !!!!!! The competition ALWAYS BRINGS THE BEST OUT OF THE CUBS !!!!!!!!

Bad news about the Chicago Cubs if they go to the 2023 MLB playoffs the Chicago Cubs will have to play the Atlanta Braves because they have the Number 1 overall best record. The Atlanta Braves will have home field advantage throughout the Playoffs and The Chicago Cubs will be eliminated. If the Cubs don’t go to the playoffs that’s okay they had a terrific 2nd half of the 2023 MLB Season. I just hope the Chicago Cubs will get the Los Angeles Angels Pitcher from Japan Shohei Ohtani because he’s not only an awesome Pitcher but he’s also an awesome Batter too.
Cubs already beat braves in a series lol.
And in that series against the Braves they will SHOCK THE WORLD as they not only beat the Braves …..but beat them easily on their way to another World Series that also SHOCKS THE WORLD!
