I watched “Locked on MLB Prospects” this morning and their expert listed the ten teams that had the prospects to land Ohtani. The Yankees were NOT one of them. I don’t think they have a realistic shot at him.
I could see like a Gorman, Carlson, and another piece to get Gilbert, but even as a Cardinals fan, I highly doubt the Mariners will trade him, and St. Louis won’t match the package need to get Gilbert
