LOS ANGELES ANGELS 2023 WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS
I know it’s early but it’s looking like everyone else in this division is better than the Mariners. Sadly the Mariners didn’t do much in the offseason. Nice going Jerry.
Remember what happened last year! They started of HOT then out of no where they lost like 12 games in a row … hopefully they stay hot for the whole season
It’s heartwarming that every year begins with the reunion of Ichiro and Shohei. The Mariners and Angels have stories, both good and bad.
2:07 is why you hustle on EVERY ground ball. You will earn a reputation with other teams, and they know that they need to rush if they are going to get you on close plays. That need to rush will increase the chances of a defensive mistake.

So many talented players nowadays and I’ve witnessed the best player in baseball history, Ohtani!!! I’ll tell that to my grandkids.
Shohei takes off his hat and bows because even if Ohtani might be a better player than Ichiro in terms of overall stats, Shoei will always be a Kohai to Ichiro’s Sempai relationship and will get advice about the baseball experience that Shohei doesn’t have (yet). Shoei also watched him growing up as a kid. the mannerism, etiquettes, respect, dedication to work hard, and also Ichiro breaking the hit record (even to this day) is a historical record and it’s what all players want to do achieve regardless of category: most homeruns, most hit, most strike outs, etc. I see a torch being passed and it’s goes deeper than just baseball.
Ty Frances first career stolen base wasn’t on there
If the Angels have outfielders with the same defensive, running, and shoulder strength as Ichiro, the chances of seeing Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout in the playoffs will increase! A famous player once said, “You’re not a professional baseball player if you start moving after the ball hits you.” I want you to keep this in mind.
Seattle has no pitcher. Fielded the ball excellently all night, but it just doesn’t matter if you’re going to give up that many homers.
