They aren’t just hockey players
Both teams are homegrown and while Czechia has played hockey longer than they have baseball, it’s great to see them not only dominate one North American sport but also get to finally play the best teams in another.

The name of their country is Czechia. It hasn’t been the Czech Republic for a decade…

Also the decade thing isn’t true, they adopted Czechia in 2016
@Leafy it’s optional ,when gvt registered it at OSN they stated it’s gonna be used mainly for sports and promotion.
